Women are the foundation of every family, community and nation. Their contributions to education, healthcare, science, agriculture, business, governance, the arts and every other field are indispensable to India's progress. Every woman has the right to live with dignity, equality, safety and freedom, and to enjoy equal opportunities in all aspects of life. The Constitution of India guarantees equality before the law and prohibits discrimination on grounds of sex. It also provides a framework for protecting the rights and freedoms of all citizens. Peaceful and lawful civic participation is one of the democratic ways through which citizens can advocate for issues affecting society. JANANI JANSHAKTI SANGATHAN calls upon women, men, youth, students, professionals, educators, social organisations and all citizens. We urge every participant to maintain discipline, cooperate with the authorities, and ensure that all public programmes remain peaceful, lawful and respectful. The progress of India depends upon the empowerment and well-being of its women. By promoting equality, education, safety, justice and opportunity through peaceful democratic participation, we can contribute to a more inclusive, prosperous and compassionate society. Let us unite to uphold constitutional values, promote equal rights and create an environment where every woman can live with dignity, freedom and opportunity. “Empowered Women, Strong Families, Strong Nation.”
