JANANI JANSHAKTI SANGATHAN is committed to promoting the educational, social, economic, and cultural advancement of socially and educationally disadvantaged communities. Through our Backward Class Welfare Project, our organisation seeks to empower members of the Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), Other Backward Classes (OBCs), Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes (DNTs), and other Economically Weaker Sections, in accordance with the Constitution of India and applicable laws. The project's objectives are consistent with the broader goals of India's social justice and backward class welfare programmes.

The project aims to:

• Promote access to quality education and lifelong learning.
• Encourage skill development, vocational training, and entrepreneurship.
• Improve employment opportunities and sustainable livelihoods.
• Promote financial inclusion and economic self-reliance.
• Increase awareness of constitutional rights, legal protections, and government welfare schemes.
• Encourage social inclusion, equality, and community participation.
• Support women, youth, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities belonging to backward classes.
• Reduce poverty and socio-economic inequalities through sustainable development initiatives.

To achieve these objectives, our organisation undertakes the following activities:

• Educational assistance, scholarships, coaching, and career guidance.
• Adult literacy, digital literacy, and financial literacy programmes.
• Skill development, vocational education, and entrepreneurship training.
• Promotion of self-employment, micro-enterprises, and livelihood generation.
• Formation and strengthening of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and community organisations.
• Health awareness, nutrition, sanitation, and family welfare programmes.
• Legal literacy and awareness regarding constitutional rights and social welfare legislation.
• Career counselling, employment facilitation, and placement support.
• Awareness programmes on government welfare schemes and financial assistance.
• Leadership development and capacity-building programmes for youth and women.
• Community development projects in rural, urban, and semi-urban areas.
• Humanitarian assistance during natural disasters and other emergencies.
• Research, documentation, seminars, workshops, conferences, and public awareness campaigns relating to the welfare of backward classes.

For effective implementation of this project, JANANI JANSHAKTI SANGATHAN welcomes collaboration with Government Departments, educational institutions, universities, skill development centres, financial institutions, healthcare providers, research organisations, charitable trusts, corporate entities, community-based organisations, and other lawful stakeholders, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
